*Yawn*
I have been watching Da Chang Jing《大长今》, the korean series from 10pm-11.40pm for almost 2 weeks every weekdays. It is quite a good show. But my eyes are telling me they can't take it anymore.. Every morning when my alarm goes off at 5.30am, i have a hard time forcing myself to wake up.. *Yawn...* left with only less then 5 hours of sleep.. Think i should not torture myself anymore, it would be easier to get the VCD off the store rather then lost my beauty sleeping hours..Hubby will be going for an interview after work at 4+pm at Singapore Power Grid today. I really hope that he will get the job as a technical officer there. It will be a good carreer path for him to gain some electrical field experience. He said he will continue to upgrade himself at NTU for a part-time degree if he manage to get this job. Haha, i can keep my tutorials for him then.. *yawn..* After 2 years at ICA as an immigration & checkpoint specialist, he had no technical experience at all, not a good career path too even for the high salary. * yawn..*Maybe i shall get a quick nap now before i start work at 8.15am.. ^o^

*Baby Rio 1st Birthday*
29th Nov 2005, today is Rio's 1st Birthday. Wow... To think of it, time really flies past so quickly.. This day last year, he was just deliver into this world. He was overdue by a week in my tummy, comfortably refuse to come out.. I was left with no choice but to admit into KKH for an induce. BUT, he still refuse to cooperate and get his head stuck at my pelvic, at last by emergency caesarian, I heard his 1st cry..
Thoughout his 1st year, I did not take care of him full time .. It was only the 3-months maternity leave, I spent most of my time at home with Rio. Soon I was back in part-time evening classes and to work. Lucky my mother-in-law & maid help me look after Rio. Even in the nights, my mother-in-law sleeps with the baby, so that i have enough sleep for work and studies.. It was so hard for me if noone were to help me look after Rio..
But in his 1st year, we saw him learn new things everyday. Rio is a fast-learner. He was able to turn onto his tummy by 1st month, sit on the walker at 4-month. It was until his 8-month, I was amazed at his rate of learning.. He could sit steadily, learnt how to crawl, called some of us already. By 10-month, he was learning to walk and is very steady in no time. He could call "Ah Ma", "Ye Ye", "Pa Pa", "Mum Mum", "Jie Jie", "Yi Yi". By 11-month, He can even point out the person location when we ask him to. The fun part was he was imitate dog barking "Ohh Ohh" and "Meow Meow". He can say "Bird", Fish", "Ball", "Bear", "Apple", "Nan Nan". He even know how to dance!! He can now also recognize pictures of fish, bird, dog, cat, balloon, ball, apple etc..
Oh my precious, I really love him dearly.. Happy 1st Birthday Dear Rio. Mummy Loves You Infinitely!!

*Saturaday Family Gathering*
Uncle Thomas came to pick Baby Rio & me up to Mummy's place at 10.15am.. He always give rubber band timing, he said 10am on Friday night.. Haahaa.. Anyway.. It had been 2 months since the last time i bring Rio back.
On the way to Mummy's place, Rio kept making funny faces to Uncle Thomas. Kept entertaining us with his cuteness all the way till we reach. The dog, Baby, was jumping mad when he saw us. Daddy finally have the chance to carry his grandson, it was some many times he was not around when i bring Rio home.. While i'm freed from Rio.... Angeline & Amelia chased me to change into a better skirt to go shopping later.. The 3-quarter pants i was wearing looked like i just came from my bed..
In the car to Granny's house, Rio was already tired, it was his nap time.. He rest quietly on my lap with his tutu and little pillow. Occasionally, he'll sit up to peek at Baby in front on my Daddy's lap and said: "Ohh Ohh" (Sound of dog barking)... so intelligent for a 11-plus-month-old kid.. =) And occasionally, he'll turn to look at his aunty Angeline & aunty Amelia.. Think after such a long time, he had long forgotten who they are..
At Granny's place, Rio had no problem playing with the adults. But his favorite are still his Uncle Shawn & Granduncle Thomas. Just give him a ball, he'll be entertained for a long time. =) Granny cooked spaghetti for lunch.. Yumm Yumm!
We went Junction 8 with Mummy, Shawn, Angeline, & Rio. Wanted to get our swimwear for 2nd Dec chalet.. wooow, it's not cheap ok.. Angeline and I each got one for $59.90 at Seiyu.. =/
We past by a performance by the cartoon figurines, think they were the "strawberries cupcakes". Rio was very curious, i was carrying him and he wanted to see them dancing.. Soon, he was on the floor dancing too.. haha..
He is just sooooo cute! On the way back home at the MRT entrance escalator, Angeline & I were holding Rio side by side while he was walking. 2 boys walk past with helium balloons, Rio saw it and said:"Ball ball.." and he swang our hands away wanting to run after the 2 boys. Oh my god.. thank godness 1 of the boy offered to give 1 of his balloon to Rio. Lucky Rio, now he has got what he wanted. What can i say, others see him as cute too. =) Else we'll have a hard time bringing Rio away from the boys. haha.
Back at Granny's place, we had chicken rice for dinner.. yummy yummy. Rio finshed his bowl of porridge & taxed on some chicken rice too.. He never had enough food. Even he ate so much, he still don't put on much weight. =/
We went home at 7-plus pm. Uncle Thomas drive my Parents & Sister home first then back to our house. Rio was already tired from a day's play.. slept on my lab throughout the journey.. =) It has been a long day outside. I hope he enjoyed himself. =)
