Went to chalet at Pasir Ris Downtown East with my hubby, son and in-law + some of hubby relatives. It was sponsored by my company for a 3days 2 nights stay from 24Dec - 26Dec. Met cousin Eng Kwee and his family when Hubby, Rio and me checked in at the reception. Rio got a xmas gift and goodie bag from Eng Kwee's mum. Our room was J1915, their's was H1803. Happened to be directly opposite each other. Hubby left us in there at 3pm+ as he went to fetch his 4th aunty and children. I had a good time alone with Rio. Let him walk around the premises till we reach a mini stage with Barney performace. Rio try to sit on the floor with the rest of the kids to enjoy the show, but he stood up most of the time as he is too short.
In-law reached before hubby, as i led them into the chalet. Unpack everything and let the maid feed Rio his late lunch. When everyone was here, we begun to BBQ. I had a good time at the BBQ. haha, i let my son with my mum-in law while hubby and i do the BBQing. It was fun this way rather then waiting for the food. =)
We could not finish the food of course. In-law and Rio went home just before 9pm as Rio was sleepy at his bedtime. Left with 4th aunty and her childen. Were waiting for 4th uncle to fetch them after work at 11pm.
Finally, left with hubby and i to spent the night..

*25-12-05*
Hubby wake up rather late at almost 11am.. We had KFC for breakfast cum lunch. There is nothing at the chalet that attracts hubby.. we went back to our room to watch Batman. Hubby bring his laptop so we can watch DVD. We had potatoes chips to past time.. After the show, we went to Loyang Point and White Sand to shop shop... Bored.. Got my colleagues xmas gifts at loyang point.. At white sand, we each got a VCD and ice cream at Mac Donald before we went back to the chalet at 5pm+.
Hubby and i began to pack up last nite BBQ stuff. Hubby working nite shift tonight. So he had to bring back the stuff so i would not have much to carry when i check out alone tomorrow. So sad, i'll be alone here for the night and noone to accompany me for the Dnd.. =(
Our door gift was a xmas hamper. With a bottle of red wine, biscuit and chocolates Here's some pics at the Dnd. I love the setting up with balloons in the air.

However, the Dnd was not present.. It was only the 2nd dish, Bobo and her BF got red wine washed over their head by a careless waitress... My white shirt got some stain on the sleeves too. They left immediately back home. Haiz, the whole mood was ruined.. I collected my door gift later from Bobo as i put it in her BF's car. I went back to put it in my chalet before going back to complete the Dnd event. The food was lousy. However, Bobo managed to get the 1st prize lucky draw of $1500!! wow men, Adeline and I were cursing.. we lost by the ast number. Bobo's was 5786, Adeline was 5787, mine 5788....
Went back alone to the chalet, had a quite bathe and zzz with the tv on. Hubby called at 12+am. I told him a got a hamper to bring home, so he'll be coming the next morning at 8+am to fetch me..

*26-12-05*
I woke up at 8am, packed whatever is left and checked out at 8.20am. waited for hubby till 8.40am.. We went back Yishun to buy breakfast. When home, i was practically doing unpacking, washing, ironing all alone after breadfast till 1pm+. Then got time to cook noodle and watch Da Chang Jing. Went shop shop in the late noon with Rio and in-law.. Hubby fake MC again... He went to watch soccer with his friends at 11+pm... i was alreadt sleeping like a pig....

Met my ex collegues of Parsons Brinckerhoff at Toa Payoh MRT at 6.30pm for a gathering dinner at Sizzler. I was the earliest to reach even thou the rest work nearer then i am..
We settle at the table in the resturant to realise that there was no usual menu. It was the special xmas menu and yes, it was expensive men... The usual $16+ salad bar dinner now cost $21+!!! And the main course price at $24+ and above... Hiaz.. I decided to share the main course with Wong, so there will still be space for more yummy at the sald bar. We decided to ordered Ham Steak and i ordered salad bar dinner, Jason ordered BBQ pork ribs, Eric ordered Half chicken set, and Candy ordered salad bar dinner.. We were still waiting for Andy as he was last minute held up by his boss who will be flying back for xmas..
So we started with the salad bar happily without Andy.. heehee.. When our main course came.. wow.. what a surpise. Our Ham steak turned out to be only 2 pathetic pieces of grilled honey Ham with a sweet pototoe come with sweet tomato jam.. hiaz.. It was a joke ok.. Haha,, and Eric's half chicken was a spring chicken. His pineapple rice came with it was a=only a handful... haha.. His was shaking his head while eat his course... When Jasons BBQ Pork Ribs came... Wowowowoowow.. It was really a huge plate men.. Almost the same length as the computer keyboard. He had a tough time finishing them up. And said that 1 month he is staying away from pork ribs.. haha.. Andy came finally when Jason was still struggling with the ribs, Andy ordered the same dish as his as he was as hungry as a tiger..
We ate and ate and ate.. till Sizzler going to close.. At about 10pm, we linger around at Mac Donald to chat, without Eric. We order a large ice lemon tea and a large lime with 5 little cups to share.. Stayed there till about 11+pm, went to catch the last train home with Wong.. It was such a long time since we last met and stayed out to so late.. I called hubby to fetch me home at Yishun Mrt as he was outside Blk 925 having kopi with his friends.. So, i was alone at home. Went to prepare somethings for BBQ the next day.. Only went to bed when he was home.. zzzzzz.

Oh my god.. Guess what.. ya, it happened..

All was well for me till Friday night. I was not in contact with Rio since Wednesday night as i left him in my in-law house. He didn't come back home for almost 1week! Heard that my mum-in-law caught the virus from Rio.
Friday evening went to in-law place as usual for dinner. I saw hubby run to the loo afew times, i tot it's his usual business.. Shared a packet of Ee Mee with him.. Maid never cook..

I realise my tummy not feeling well, lau sai when we reach home at 8.30pm.... =( Hubby went kopi with his friends at 10pm, idiot left me alone when i unwell..

Suprise!! Hubby came home so early at 12am.. Haha, he said he's not well too. We both could not have a good nite sleep as both had body aches.. Kept tossing on the bed and been awake during the nite. In the morning, mun-in-law called up, she passed the virus on to my father-in-law. He woke up during Saturday morning vomiting.. She was hoping hubby could help him on the delivery, who knows, we both fall sick too..

Idiot, really feel like slapping him hard.. He lau sai still dare to ask me share his ee mee!! Make me so sick! Waste our weekend sleeping like pig.. I didn't eat well during these 2 days..

And.. haha, guess what for the worst.. i got gastric again.... In the Sunday night. I predict it coming as my stomach felt weird, i begin to burp even when i'm not hungry... The pain hits me in the Monday morning near 2am... Hubby was jus home from his kopi session with his friends... I was in terrible pain till 4am+.. The medicine i took did not work! I took it 2 times!! Hubby was so pissed off he force me to drink the ginger tea... YuckS!! I hate its taste! It was still not good.. He bring in a pile of comics, turn on the bedside lamp and ask me to read them.. Told me to stop thinking about the pain, read till the eyes cannot remind open, then go zzzzzz..

Haha, he could not help much other then doing all these.. But lucky, the pain did go away.. Was it the ginger tea? hehe, needless to say, i was on mc for monday lah.. Only about 3 hours of sleep.. I look like a zombie in the morning!!

We went to Novena Square in the afternoon, went Toa Payoh Central after that to shop shop.. As usual, Rio always wants me to carry him even after we get him a new pair of shoes.. Why he so sticky to me huh?? Don;t know i should feel happy or what.. Very tried leh.. He no longer baby ok, almost 10kg liao....
Before we went home, dropped by at granny's place. Collected my presents and barang barang from aunty Doris trip to China.. haha, Rio was so quiet when i carry him up.. As usual, both aunties want to carry Rio lah.. Granny gave me a bottle of pineapple tarts.. haha.. yummy yummy..

Rio was ok when i was at my in-law home in wed evening. He have not eaten his dinner porridge.. When he was fed, he refuse his food and only got 2 mouthful. We tot he was still feeling full from his 4pm milk fed. So get him to eat some pao.. Who knows he vomited twice! We tot he did it on purpose, becos he has the habit of coughing then force his tougue out to vomit.

But when back home at 8pm, he vomited in the taxi!! Got a feeling he is not well liao.. he felt asleep at 8+pm. My maid try to feed him some milk at 9pm, he vomited again.. Bo pian, i just finish my bath and was washing clothes. My mum-in-law says better bring him to the doctor..

Went in taxi to 24hr clinic. Finshed at 10pm. He got "stomach flu". Doc give him medi thru his asshole to stop the vomiting + medi for vomiting.. Poor Rio. but, cost me a bomb of $22!!

I slept with him together with my in-law in the room. Have a tough nite looking after him. He would wake up wanting milk but he cannot drink milk, will lau sai.. so gave him glucose water.. But later in the nite, bo pian, he really hungry asking for milk.. so make him a bottle. Straight after he finish, i force himslef to stand up.. Then... the smell hits me.. he lau sai!! haha.. the reaction of him really funny men.. blur blur stand still dun dare to move..

Hiaz, finally ay 5am, mum-in-law ask the maid up to look after Rio with me as she going back to store. I was still alert till 7am, Rio wake up liao.. i crawl to my room to zzzz with hubby.. i took urgent leave, dog tired..

Hiaz, Rio was still not well the next day.. bring him to his regular doc in the evening.. Give him the same medi from his asshole, and medi for lau sai.. plus a few packet milk that he can consume.. plus freezer pops to keep him hydrated.. all these only $16. Phew... Hopefully at nite my mum-in0law can manage, cos they not coming home tonite.. it's lunar 15th tomorrow, so they stay to pray..

Today, i'm back in the office with panda eyes.. =/ Hopefully Rio is feeling better now.. See him so sick and tired yesterday.. But still wanna play.. Hurt me so much everytime he fell ill. =(



+Chalet on 01/12/05+
Wow.. Bring my son to aranda country club for 1 whole day on the 1st Dec with my maternal side family. I wanted to say that i enjoy myself very much, but it was also very taxing looking after Rio. He had only half an hour nap, and the rest of the time i was following him all around the chalet..
We went to the kid's pool with Shawn, Amelia, Angeline & Rio. Rio could still have his head up when he step in the 0.5m deep pool. Rio sure enjoy himself very much when i hold him by his arms and swim around in the water.
BBQ started quite late, i didn't really enjoy the moment. I couldn't BBQ on my own, need to look after Rio, feed him with his noodle & rice as he refuse his milk! He's one naughty naughty boy.. luckly my cousin sent me and Rio home at 8.30pm. Rio was already exhuasted. When i was carrying him walking towards the carpark, he was not responding to my talks, stone stone with eyes about to shut. Once i got into the car, I gave Rio his tutu and little pillo, letting him rest on my lap.. Guess what, he fall asleep within a minute!!, and snoring away... Haha.. so cute. =)

+FYP meetup 06/12/05+
Finally got to meet Derrick after he postponed Monday's meeting, even today's was about to be cancelled as he was on standby and last minute got to attend to his work.
Went to mummy place for dinner. I had Chicken Rice!! Yummy Yummy.. Oh ya, that stupid dog was mad while i enter the house.. Kept jumping and jumping trying to hop onto me.. And he is one "Sei Guo"!! He's little hotdog becomes red when i carry him!!! What kind of dog shows what kind of master.. =pp ((Haha, i wonder if Amelia reads my blogs??))
Derrick picked me up at 7.15pm to NTU. We discussed quite a few things and noticed that we still short of main info to continue the project. There is quite alot to catchup. We only got this 1-month Dec to do 1 semester task. Hee hee, lovely hubby came to fetch my home at 9pm. =) he says it's going to rain, so he come over lor..
