+ Training @chester UK and short trip to London +
Went to Chester,UK for training on the 13th June night flight. We reach there at 14th June morning 5.50am. Travel to The Queen Hotel via Train which was like 4 hours form london heathrow airport.
We reach the hotel before checkin time at 2PM, so decided to walk around Chester. Chester is a very small town. Chilled weather and nice nature environment.
We went to the park where we saw wild squarrals, ducks, goose, pigeons and even the wild flowers on the grass is beautiful!!
We went to Chestle Castle and walk along part of the Chestle Walls that protect Chestle during the War. Had BK for lunch.. Not good, the beef in our burgers are overcooked!
Training starts on the 15th June 9am-4pm and lasted till 16th June. We had English breakfast included in the hotel stay for the 2 mornings. Not too bad, just that both days you eat the same food.. haha.. The training was ok. Just that the lunch they served was terrible.. Totally not my taste of food.. Yucks! Image eating half cook cold rice that cooked like nasi brani flavour.. Puke! What i like was the fruits they offered! Sweet! Juicy!
Dinner back at Chester, we tried the Thai Food and Hong Kong Style Chinese Food on the 14th and 15th respectively. The Thai Food was not too bad, just that the portion they served were miserably SMALL!! The Chinese food was not too bad, but the portion they served were surprisely too BIG!!
We do some last minute shopping at Chester on the 16th evening before we had our dinner at MacDonald and catch the 2hours train back to London Heathrow Airport. Had a good sleep in the train. =)
We had to transfer via bus to the Hotel at Holiday Inn which is near the Airport. There are many hotels around that area that people called that place Airport Hotels. Booked into the Hotel at nearly 11pm... Died tired..
We met 8am in the hotel lobby for 17th, 18th and started our own tour around London. =)
Did alot of walking, sightseeing, photosnapping.. Saw Big Ben, went for the London Eye, watch the Change of Guard (that where i got my sun burn around my neck!! The rest of the guys were ok!!), shopping at LiliWhites (bot new pair of sport shoes and dumpped my old ones in the Hotel.. bot jerseys for myself, hubby and Rio!! hee.), St. Paul's Church, Tower Bridge(Saw London Bridge from the opposite), also went to the flea market where i bot lots of
magnets for my family, bot strawberries which cost only $1 pound and size of box was llike half an A
4 paper, Big and Juicy and Sweet.. tasted same cherries too from my colleagues. Yummy..
Our flight back home was at 10.15pm..
so we checked in at 7pm. Had done last minute chocolate shopping at the London Airport before boarding the plane. Spent $20+ pounds on chocolates and toffees!! I cannot belived myself.. 1st time in my life i spent so much on these kind of stuff.
Home sweet home at Changi Airport where hubby, rio , mun in law and maid came to pick me up..
Rio was sticky onto my the moment i came out.. haha.. so cute..
This was the 1st time i flew so far away from home, alone from my family and so a long period of 1week. =)
