Last night, I was accompanying Rix and Rio in their room for bedtime. Out of sudden, Rio began to talk to Rix about life and death. I was listening quietly as he told his younger brother: "Didi, do you know, when Ahma grow old, she will die? Then when we grow as old as papa & mummy, they will be as old as Ahma & Yeye. Then when we have our own children, papa & mummy will grow old and die. Then when our children are as old as papa & mummy like now, we will grow as old Ahma & Yeye, then eventually also will die.."
I am surprised that Rio at only 7 years old, can explain the life cycle, but what made me speechless was his next sentence...
"Didi, you will grow old and die, are you afraid?"
Oh men!! It is bed time, must you scared your brother now..? And Rix replied:"I am scared!! I don't want to die!!"
Wow.. after such a long time from my last entry.. here are some updates.
Rie, born on the 19th June 2009, is already 2yrs 4mths old. Very cheeky, more playful than her two elder brothers. A quick learner too! ;) Is attending Pre-Nursary together with Rix.
Rix, is 4yrs 9mths old and learning to be a good korkor to his little sister. Since we moved to our new house, Rix no longer sleeps in our bedroom. The two boys now share a bedroom of their own. Thus, growing more independent. But needs to gain more meat, Rie is already 14kg, while he is only 18kg!
Rio, is turnnig 7yrs old next month (Nov). This little monster has a very big stomach. He can eats an adult portion when he is in the mood. Gosh, he is weighing at 25kg already! Had tried to involve him in more sports like swimming and badminton.. Overall, he hasn't done too badly in his Primary 1 results. But still there is a lot of room for improvements.
Ric, my mate. Known each other since 1997, married for 7 years. So far, so good. Still the same old man i know.. Some hiccups in his career, but things have been picking up farely well. Hope for the better. :)
Me, same old me.. just more fatter, maybe some tiny lines at the edge of the eyes to reflect my wisdom... ;p Seems very hard to lose weight once age catches up. With the above 4Rs in the family, there is a lot of juggling between work-family-myself..
Work: not as busy as 2010, but 2011 will be a new challenge. Will be based in Shell Bukom site office to manage a project. At the same time, I hope to pass my Professional Engineering Paper 2 in 2011, and to become a Professional Electrical Engineer should be my goal in my career.
Family: Coach my kids in their studies, spent quality time with them. Hubby is now not top priority, except during our bedtime activities. ;P Also must catchup time with my daddy, mummy, sisters, aunties D & D...
Myself: had spent quite a sum of money on MYSELF since 2009, starting from the hair loss problem after pregnancy till now. And also some facial packages that I pamper myself and my mummy with. I really hate it when I come to think of how much I had signed my hard earned money away and still paying the installments that is schedule till 2013!! Must put my credit cards at home when i go for my appointments to prevent more spending. :( It is time to start saving up for the kids university fees.
Hubby is a big liar.. He said if BB #3 is a girl, I'll get to choose her English name... I was racking my brains for a name that starts with "A" and ends with "RIN".. Why? because hubby was Ric, the boys were Rio & Rix.. My English name is Audrey, but at the same time, my nick is Rin...
So, wanted my gal to have something in common but following her mummy Letter "A".. Though of Ann-marin, Averin, Arrin, Airin... Think and think finally I told Hubby, what about Adorin... Just like adorable...
He don't like it.. and insist of naming her RIE... WHY RIE? so difficult to pronouce! =( So angry with him... ! Cheater..........
